Description
I asked the technical POC for the ASTER Data Product if a master list of ASTER DEM files/tiles
was available for use in cross-checking the success of bulk-download requests.

I copied my JPL contact, Bob Crippen, on this message, and he responded with a copy of just such
a list of ASTER GDEM2 data files. Although we are using the GDEM1 version of ASTER DEM, I am
assuming that since Bob knows this, the GDEM2 list also applies to GDEM1 data.
This is good news, as it makes it much easier to programmatically determine whether
I have downloaded the complete coverage for > 60 Lat worldwide.
Other useful news from the tech POC at JPL: He confirms that the Japanese ASTER portal
and the NASA WIST site distribute the SAME version of the ASTER GDEM data set.

I re-read Bob's email; he notes that the file list for the GDEM2 data set should be 'the same or close' to
the GDEM1 data set.
Good to know, I will be careful to watch for any differences as I validate the counts...
