Use the full gridded datasets (rather than just station locations) to explore relationships between LST and various (continuous) land cover classes. The objective is to see which (if any) land cover classes have anomalously high or low LST after correcting for location, elevation, and other variables. This information will be useful to identify appropriate interaction terms for LST and land cover in the interpolation models.
