* enables the automated tests to be run on vegbiendev * allows adding a new datasource directly on vegbiendev, without a dependency on a separate testing machine ** this makes it much easier for a documentation tester or other BIEN members to add datasources, since they do not need to set up their own VegBIEN install * avoids needing to maintain two copies of VegBIEN and keep them both in sync (which requires running every command twice) * makes it possible to upload a new datasource from a web interface (which can just use vegbiendev)
