Decisions made¶
datasource validations¶
- validate VegBank -> CVS -> Madidi
- validate BIEN2 datasources before new datasources (affects TEX)
- fix all issues with one datasource before moving on to the next one
- e-mail extract to entire list in case Brad/Bob not available
- Brian might have time to validate some extracts
data provider metadata¶
- Brian remembers summarizing this somewhere
To do for Martha, Mark¶
- look into finding a documentation tester
- most iPlant projects do this at the very end (Martha)
but aren't we at the end?
- most iPlant projects do this at the very end (Martha)
To do for Aaron¶
datasource validations¶
- Clarification (Martha): Work on fixing the issues with
VegBank, then CVS, then Madidi, in that order.- Completely finish the fixes on one data source at a time.
- After the above are finished, work on switching CVS to new style import. (task remaining from last week)
VegBankCVS- Madidi
- other BIEN2 datasources with issues: ARIZ, U
- new datasources with issues: TEX
- unvalidated datasources: FIA, GBIF, MO
- Martha: Aaron, if you have time, proceed with fixing issues on the other datasources, but be sure to ask for clarification of the issues if necessary. Could you explain why MO and FIA are listed as "unvalidated"? GBIF too.
We have not yet had anyone review extracts for these datasources. (MO was reviewed before it was refreshed, however.)
To Do for Brad (added by Martha)¶
- Summarize what remains to be done on the data provider metadata and attribution task.
To Do for Martha (added by Martha)¶
- Email others about rescheduling Oct. 24 call to Oct. 25.
