  • Top priority is to get a CVS extract to Mike and Bob before Thanksgiving.
  • First, Aaron ask Bob and Mike which plots to include or if first 100 rows will work for validating CVS.
  • Bob and Mike respond.
  • Aaron, Make the extract as correct and complete as possible (script changes) given the time constraint of before Thanksgiving.

For Aaron, Brad

• Taxon Names (after Thanksgiving)
  • Aaron Send Brad the formulas for forming the taxon names derived results.

CVS validation¶

• focus just on this until the 1st-round extract is ready (Martha, Brad), so that we can get the extract to Bob and Mike before Thanksgiving (Martha thinks there is a chance that they might review it over Thanksgiving)

taxonomic fields¶

• do this after the 1st-round CVS extract is sent
• [except for CVS] can take place concurrently with the validation (Brad)

CVS validation¶

1. ask Bob and Mike Lee which plots to validate see Mike Lee's response above
2. left-join the tables
   (may take 2+ days since CVS is a complex datasource)
   • includes renaming the staging table columns to VegCore to avoid inter-table name collisions
3. prepare extract
   • ideally get this to Bob and Mike before Thanksgiving
   • do not add VegBank-related changes unless there is time before next Wednesday
4. then make the VegBank-related fixes
   • some of these are time-consuming and may otherwise prevent the extract from being ready in time

taxonomic fields¶

1. add remaining fields
2. collect together the formulas for the TNRS derived columns and send them to Brad see TNRS derived columns
   • likely not until after Thanksgiving because CVS is first
