goals¶

in Tuesday's planning conference call, it would be good to decide on the following (in order of importance):

1. release plan: a plan for how to make at least something available to the wider vegetation community. the data may have errors, but it should at least be made available (within legal constraints) so that others can inspect what's there and provide feedback on what is most important to fix.
2. grant-fulfillment strategy: a plan for how to satisfy the remaining tasks on the *iPlant grant*, especially the interfaces needed to make BIEN3 useful to and maintainable by the wider vegetation community

3. our goals for 2014: a list of maybe half a dozen high-level goals reiterating/clarifying what we want out of BIEN3
4. priority ordering of the goals: which goals are most critical (+ maybe a rationale)
5. requirements breakdown of the goals: the specific requirements/deliverables needed to achieve each high-level goal
