TNRS¶

• will use the TNRS dev server for future scrubbing, because that includes all the sources we need
• the TNRS dev server URL should not be made publicly available because some of the data on the server is copyrighted
  • this will require changing the TNRS client to fetch the web app URL from a separate, non-version-controlled file
• the Constrain by Source TNRS bug is not a blocker because there is a workaround (Martha)
• the TNRS dev server will only be used temporarily; it is to be determined what we will use after it (Martha)

• change the TNRS client to use the dev server's web app URL (fetch it from a separate, non-version-controlled file so that it won't be publicly accessible)

• if using live server to do high-volume scrubbing, e-mail Martha so she can track whether we are causing load on the TNRS server no longer applicable; we are now using the dev server

TNRS dev server¶

• the TNRS dev server does have the web app on it, so we can use that directly rather than rewriting the TNRS client to use the command-line API
• in 6 months, will be able to wake up Atmosphere instances programmatically (Martha)
• Atmosphere core allocation can be handled by iPlant so that we don't lose the cores if we don't log in often enough, as is the current policy (Martha)
