I am a Licensing Officer from the Office of Technology & Industry Alliances=

 at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). I'm writing to ask =

a question about the VegBank schema that was developed at your institution.

Researchers at UCSB's National Center for Ecological Analysis and Synthesis=

, were given access to a version of the VegBank schema which, apparently, i=

s not publicly available. The schema was exported from a live database and =

did not have associated licensing information. The researchers would like t=

o open source license the software that they have written that incorporates=

 the VegBank schema. In connection with this, I'm writing to inquire whethe=

r you might provide the terms and conditions under which this non-public ve=

ted from a live database and did not have

 associated licensing information. The researchers would like to open sourc=

e license the software that they have written that incorporates the VegBank=

 schema. In connection with this, I’m writing to inquire whether you =
