Attached is a copy of the proposal that BIEN members (of the NCEAS WG) |

had submitted to iPlant, with a big vision of what they could help us |

do. This proposal was ultimately rejected, but shortly thereafter |

iPlant approached us about working together and the current |

partnership is the latest manifestation of our interactions. |
