Here are those use cases illustrating the ways in which information on data provenance might be used by BIEN users and data providers. Please note especially use case 5, which shows that data provenance needs to be modeled for traits as well.

As a review, I've provided a summary of how we currently model data provenance. At the end I suggest some possible modeling options that would simplify and unify how we model provenance. These are just suggestions, if anyone has other ideas, please pipe up.
