Decisions¶

VegCSV¶

• In-depth discussion will be postponed until the November BIEN conference
• There will be a separate vegetation schema breakout session on the Monday before the conference (11/26, the Monday after Thanksgiving)

VegBIEN taxonomic schema¶

• We will add a flattened taxonomic table with standardized column names
• We will also add an extendable user-defined table for taxonomic ranks not part of the standard names
• TNRS-resolved names will be placed in the hierarchical (recursive) plantname table

• There will be no meeting this Friday
• There will also be no meeting next Friday 9/21, as Brad will be unavailable
• The next conference call will be on Monday 9/24
