globally unambiguous¶
for non-URLs¶
- a Google search for the phrase in quotes produces no results (in the first few pages) where the phrase is standalone
- if the phrase is registered as a domain name, all registered TLDs of it are parked and do not refer to an entity of that name
examples¶
- u-name happens to be globally unambiguous as of this writing (2013-5-17):
- a Google search for "u-name" (in quotes) produced no results in the first few pages with "u-name" as a standalone phrase
- although u-name.com and u-name.info are registered, they are parked and do not refer to an entity of that name
